The Fan Deng Books outlet in SIP is redefining the commercial path of bookstores through a diversified, composite business model.

The bookstore moved from the Suzhou Modern Media Plaza to the Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre Commercial Plaza in late 2025. Its books, including professional ones on finance, commerce and technology, literary works, and biographies, are neatly displayed on walls.

The central beverage bar serves premium coffee and traditional Chinese tea, surrounded by not only reading areas, but also semi-private and creative spaces for thinking, writing and cultural activities.

The bookstore takes the initiative to gear into SIP’s development strategies. For example, it sells original concert merchandise inspired by local culture for fans attending concerts at Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre, and participates in boosting “ticket stub economy” by offering discounts or other benefits for concert-goers.

Moreover, the bookstore organizes diverse events frequently, inviting experts from various fields to disseminate culture, art, science, and life skills.
